"I need to say that I had the one of the best experiences at a winery that I have ever had.  I live in Cape May County and this is the first time I have visited any of the vineyards in our area.  We normally travel out of the state to try different wines but today we felt like being tourists.  We actually almost didn't make it to your vineyard today due to the web site not showing that it was open today.  We went to Cape May Winery (which was ok) and took the map which showed yours and decided to see where you were.  Lisa was great!  I work with the public in AC and she was extremely personable and had no problems answering any questions that we had.

I was amazed at how many different wines that you produce on only 5 acres, and it is all your own grapes.  Lisa told us that people had said you guys were crazy for planting what you had planted.  I guess you showed them.  I truly believe that anything can be accomplished if you put your mind to it. I went to school for agriculture and someone once told me that I couldn't grow vegetables in a cement garden...  I sure proved them wrong.

My partner and I are planning on relocating to NC this year and have been joking around about starting a vineyard with small quantity of production just has a hobby and see what happens.  We have been looking at around 10 acre parcels and were so happy to see that it can actually be done on smaller parcels of land.  Hopefully my niece who lives in Saint Helena (Napa Valley) Ca can help us when we want to get started.  She presently is the director of sales and marketing for Whetstone Wine Cellars in Napa.

I would really love to pick your brain one day on how you guys got started, any books or reference materials that you used or anything in general on the production of such a great product that you guys produce.  Heck, I would even be interested in helping out when I could.

Sorry to ramble on but it is so rare, especially in this area, to find a place that isn't trying to push you into buying something.  A place that you come into and feel instantly welcomed and not rushed.  Not once did we feel that we had to buy anything while we were there, which only made us buy more.  We will be back for another visit.

Thank you again for such a great product and be sure to thank Lisa for us in making us feel welcomed and we will be back."

Sincerely,
Ed Taner

Hello, Sara and Sal,

This is Carl "Spike" Bickel and Daniel Richeal from Miami. I wanted to write you and tell you how pleased we were to find you wines last Thursday. We were there with Dan's sister, Diana from Woodbury. We opened every bottle over the next 3 days and you've got some new fans there in NJ as well as here in Miami. Every bottle was a pleasure to open and drink. I think Dan's mom and his aunt were going to stop in before heading back to Woodbury next weekend. I know we will stop again the next time we're up in NJ too. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon and a great "find."

"We just wanted to extend our thanks as we returned home from Cape May. Already your wine is a hit with our friends and parents( who are Sicilian born). Everyone should be as fortunate as us to experience your wine and see your vineyard. This picture was taken last saturday, the 24th, in front of your vineyard. You'd never know we were in New Jersey.

PS. When we were there you had mentioned that we could meet some place and aquire more wine... Ciao."

Hello Sal/Sarah,

"Just wanted to tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed visiting your vineyard on Friday afternoon, 10/13/2006. The wine tasting was a pleasure in such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Of course the wines were terrific too. We look forward to visiting you all again and recommending your vineyard and wines. We wish you all continued success and happiness in the coming seasons."
